Made With Love

It's National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!

So how could we possibly go this whole day without offering up our favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe? This is the one that GETS us at the Home Office, coming at your courtesy of General Manger Dana Bloom's friend, Laura.

Mini Chip Butter Crisps

2 ¼ cups all purpose flour

½ teaspoon salt

1 ¼ cups butter, softened

1 cup icing sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 ½ cups mini chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325 F.  Stir together flour and salt.  Cream butter, gradually beat in sugar and vanilla.  Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, one part at a time.  Blend until smoothly combined.  Stir in chocolate chips.  Form dough into 1-inch balls.  Place 1 dozen at a time on cookie sheet, flatter to rounds approximately 2 inches in diameter with bottom of glass dipped in four.  Back for 10-11 minutes.  Cool.  Makes about 6 dozen.
